The artsyle and music are whimsical and beautiful! Altough I would suggest to make it eigher fully 2D or fully pixel art, unless it's intentional to have some enemies like skeletons appear in pixel artstyle.
Unfortunatly, like others have said, I also would often get softlocked, sometimes dashing would help, but I still had to restart the game a couple of times times qwq. I'll make sure to check on your game after the jam, to play it after some fixing :D
