Starfall: Wow, that intro is really epic and I love the falling bell atmosphere. The pulsing/panning of the bells and pads and the 5/4 time signature add to the spiritual feeling of this track. This all contributes to a really beautiful and evocative scene in my mind. The choir certainly adds to the “from the heavens” feel of this track. I love the subtle shift in dynamics for growth as the track progresses.
Starry Sea: Your music does everything for me that your description provides. But it also conveys so much more! That solo vocal and the solo cello are so beautiful and whimsical. The subtle use of percussion helps add a sense of motion to the track which I think works well for a world theme.
Shooting Star: The occasional low-register impacts contrasted with the fast-paced high-register runs, along with the fast percussion maintain the atmosphere of the spiritual world, but also are very effective at creating that sense of urgency. I think this track is my personal favorite out of the soundtrack!
One Summer Night: This song fits exactly what I imagine for an ending sequence of the game. This certainly fits alongside other games I think of with similar types of feelings, like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy. This is very impressive that you not only wrote and produced the music during the week, but also made lyrics as well! Very nicely done!
Overall: Your story and music have captivated me. This spiritual musical journey is breathtakingly beautiful. There are several moments where I think you are going to take us to the edge of something new, but you stay consistent with the atmosphere of the setting which I think is in line with the story and works to save the energy for the high tension theme later on. This is quite beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing!
