Thank you so much for the kind words, really happy you liked it, this was a lot of "new" with working on Dorico instead of Studio One so I learned a lot and hoping I keep learning more for the next Jam :)
yeah Dorico was surprisingly way easier to get into than I first thought, and it actually was easier to compose on there than on studio one, and yeah no the reference is not intentional at all, I’ve been told about ff7 too which is funny as it’s the one big FF in from « my era » that I haven’t played. FFX is my forever game though so there was intentionality in having it sounding like an ff track kind of like the rhythm that’s in a ton of jrpgs, and the last track is definitely the Souls series blended with that FF aesthetic!
