I came back again.

Saw that others had downloaded and played so I've given it a go.

While the visuals might be simple, and there's no sound.  What you've made is really good for a first submission.

I got to a point where I couldn't proceed further (where you had the star shaped moving spikes), but up until that point the layout of the level was done really well, every jump until that point was possible and the placement of the platforms and obstacles was really well thought out.
