Can you upload a screenshot or 2 to the game page?

While I don't mind downloading games to play, I would like to see what it is before I download it.

Or, if you can upload a web version?

There have been problems in other jams where people have uploaded viruses to the jams, so people tend to dislike downloading games with no information and no screenshots.  The best way I have found to get people to play in other jams is to upload a web playable version.

I will come back later.

welp sorry i cant do that i forgot to upload some before i submit the game

I came back again.

Saw that others had downloaded and played so I've given it a go.

While the visuals might be simple, and there's no sound.  What you've made is really good for a first submission.

I got to a point where I couldn't proceed further (where you had the star shaped moving spikes), but up until that point the layout of the level was done really well, every jump until that point was possible and the placement of the platforms and obstacles was really well thought out.

Thanks for the game.

thanx bro thank you very much
if i had more time i might add sounds
but for the visuals and design i really suck at this so much and theres no one who could help me with that
next time ill try remembering adding screen shots

The only problem with the visuals was their simplicity.

If you wanted to improve this on your own, there's a couple of things you could look into depending on how you want to approach it.

If you want to do it yourself, I would recommend looking into pixel art.  Small pixel sprites can be very forgiving to artistic skill, and when you figure it out, you can make the assets pretty quickly as well.

If you don't want to make the art yourself, you can look at using asset packs.  There's loads of free ones out there, and as you do more you will figure out how to mix and match assets from different packs to get the look you want.

If you decide to go down the road of using assets, just be mindful of any license requirements.  Personally I try to make all my own assets wherever possible.  It means I own them and can do anything I want with them, but it is a lot more work and limits the scope of what I can normally make for a jam game.

If you want to see what I mean, have a look at the other games I've published here.
