Wow the artists really outdid themselves here, and having a story in a game jam is definitely a brave decision, with the amount of time you had to build out the entire game :D. Although i'm not quite sure what was the intended style of play in this game, it seems to be going for stealth game mechanics, but the best strategy I've found, is throwing a bunch of cookies in front of my path and just picking them up and chucking them at the guards, because the camera zoom was a bit too zoomed in to properly plan out my moves.

Thank you for checking out the game! We were going for a more action-oriented kind of stealth game, but as the jam progress we lacked time to properly design the levels that were appropriate for the mechanics that is presented in the game. So yeah, some levels may just feel off to play and not that fun/challenging.

But hey if you found that chucking cookies at the guards was enough fun for you, that's already a win for me :D

Thanks a lot for your feedback and as the composer and writer, I am really happy that you enjoyed the story. The main story is fairly independent from the main game (as it is mostly conveyed in the CGs) and that made it possible that the art team had a lot of freedom to flesh out this part of the story and push the narrative here.  The harder part was to anchor it in the levels and regular gameplay and this was for sure a real challenge with the short time and the chaotic nature of the game jam.
