Getting the dash mechanic was really fun to play around with! The environment was engaging, the variety of enemies was really cool, and each one was fun to fight. I also liked the little puzzles you added in the castle they were a really nice touch.

The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the checkpoint system. It was tough having to start all over again after making so much progress (and the puzzles were a bit hard too 😅). Other than that, I really enjoyed the game it was a fun run!

Great submission, and I honestly don’t know why more people haven’t engaged with it. I found it super entertaining and it definitely deserved full stars from me ❤️.

edit: Music was awesome

I can really see the effort you put into the level design and the game as a whole it turned out great! Keep up the awesome work, and I hope to see you take it even further one day.

Hello Hussein! Happy you liked my min game this much!

I remember you from the GameDevTV jam!! 😊 Glad you got to join this one as well! 💪

Dashing is always a fun mechanic for these types of games, haha! Happy you liked the way it was implemented! And happy you liked the puzzles and music! Hope you got to see the secret rooms too! hehe 😜

Yeah, I didn't have time to do 'quality of life' coding, such as implementing difficulty level and checkpoints... Even a mini boss and another section of the Dungeon I had to scrap it because of time constrains... but checkpoints is something confirmed for the 'Demo' update, because I  do indeed intend to expand this game a bit further, since the basic framework is already there 💪

Good luck with your entry too! I'll give it a try here as well! 😊💪🎉

It really makes me happy that someone remembers me from a past jam! 😁 Good luck with extending this game, I can definitely see the vision for it becoming a super fun and chill experience. I was literally just relaxing and playing, and honestly, I wish there were bosses too!
