What a Great idea for a game ! :)
i completed the DMG room, GBPOCKET room, GBADVANCE room and LINK room with official nintendo hardware.
unfortunatly, i didnt manage to "control p" on my computer even if my printer is connected to my pc. (but i guess that only works on a gameboy with a gameboy printer haha)
No SGB room for me bc as I dont have a super game boy so i tried to do it with bgb, but i didnt manage to set up SGB multiplayer :/
And i didnt finished the CGB room. I'm locked after i pushed the rock during winter. I go back to spring for more water but the way is close again :/ (bug or im dumb ?)

You're right about the printer - you need an official GB Printer (Or use GBE+ emulator) and the rock will crumble away for you to continue!
You can use BGB for the SGB if you configure joypad 1 (you can technically get away with just one extra joypad, you don't need 4!)
And the Color dungeon.... if you are stuck with the rock in winter... you need to go back to Autumn and push the rock off the cliff then. Then it will stay put, and then go to Winter, and the water will have frozen below the rock - allowing you to push it out the way!
