This is such a well polished jrpg throwback that it's a shame I'm the first person leaving a comment here. Everything about the game took me right back to SNES era JRPGs in a good way. The music, the sprite work ect all were great. I didn't get a chance to play it for super long as I only had an hour slotted, but in general I had a great time with the hour. The writing and gameplay were solid, and I def was interested in seeing more. My only complaint is more of a me problem, and that is I def got lost in town some. It took me a while to figure out where the tavern was, and then I also lost track of the save point in town because I couldn't remember where it was. Overall great job though.

Thank you so much for the feedback! The fact that you mentioned it took you back to the SNES era is exactly what I'm going for. So this is great to hear. And that complaint is totally valid. I watched the stream vod, and you did happen to walk past it on stream (it was in the park in Westwind). But based on your feedback, it might be best to just move the save point closer to the entrance to Westwind. I've also added an alert that lets the player know when an autosave is happening so they may not have to chase down a save point when they want to stop playing. As for the Tavern, I'm thinking I can add some directional signage near the entrance of Westwind as well.
