I think it happened when I was digging while pressing "Back to Top" at the same time!! But it only happens at the sand zone for some reason

Woops never mind- I think it happened while I was digging in the hard soil zone with the sand coming down

Got it, thanks for sharing the details! It sounds like it's connected to device lag, where some devices don't have enough time to fully reset the visuals after jumping back to the top. Just to confirm, this glitch is only visual and doesn't affect gameplay, right?

Nope, it doesn't! It seemed really funny to me honestly so I wanted to share it :3 (i  can still dig it if it counts affecting gameplay though)

Glitch stuff aside, I honestly really enjoy this game!! Will this have any feature updates like characters or zones soon? :P I've been gambling just so I dont unlock everything lol (Biggest goal for me is to mine every cell in every zone)

Thanks so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the game!

Yes, definitely! I usually work on Serenitrove during my free time. The recent patches have mainly focused on fixing bugs, adding QoL improvements, and improving performance. Once those are mostly taken care of, I'll be back to the drawing board to design new turtles, zones, and more.

One challenge with adding new zones is that as the game expands, each run would take much longer, and late game players would need to dig through all the earlier zones every time. Adding underground checkpoints doesn't feel right either, since it could break the simple, casual gameplay loop by forcing players to choose between the surface and a checkpoint. It's something I'm still thinking through, and hopefully I'll find a good solution! :)

I see!! Im sure you can do it!! Also, maybe there could be horizontal zones  too so they dont have to dig vertically all the time?

Thanks! Horizontal digging is a really fun idea. I'll need to think about how to implement it without throwing off the game balance, since it adds a whole new dimension to the digging. I really appreciate the suggestion!
