Ah, but my Norton 360 quaratined the .exe because apparently it's infected with "FileRepMalware".

And on the link you posted, the file was not scanned with Symantec (Norton) Mobile Insight.

This sort of things can seriously harm a dev's rep, so FWIW I seriously recommend you do your best to figure out what's causing this and how to fix it, but that's just my opinion.

I'll just repeat the message about Norton.

In principle, I cannot influence this, because you are using a disgusting antivirus that is always falsely triggered.

That is a problem with all AntiVirus but especially those that border between maleware and useless like Norton.

Software developers need to pay those companies protection money ... I mean validation fees ... to move new versions to the trusted apps whenever they release a new version else they are flagged as virus until enough samples are encountered or complains are made.

I don’t have enough money to pay this disgusting company just to get whitelisted. I don’t live richly and can afford it, but even if I could, I wouldn’t do it on principle.
