I have a question for jotd. My Amiga 500, expanded to 1MB (512k trapdoor slow mem), refuses to boot either galaxian500 or Galaga500. In both cases, the floppy disk starts loading, then at the kickstart 1.3 screen right at the beginning, it resets. Could this be a problem with my expansion? I tried removing it, and indeed, some acid leaked from the capacitor, which didn't affect the expansion's overall operation, since it works with all the other games that require 1MB. The only other game that resets the machine is Palace's Barbarian II, although I don't see it using 1MB. Do you recommend replacing the expansion, or could the reset problem be caused by something else?

have you tried some other games by me? what happens?

Tried Pac-man, and it works perfectly.

I think Pacman is the only one that only requires 512k :) Try others like Pooyan or LockNChase.

Ok, tried Lock'n'Chase, same reset, with guru meditation error as the previous games (#81000009. 00C09E3C). So, is it the 512k ram expansion? Changing the subject: do you accept game requests? Since you evidently  have above-average programming skills, you should consider making an Amiga port (possibly ECS/OCS) of Tehkan World Cup, and making it trackball compatible. It's always been my arcade obsession (and not only mine, I think).

If I may give you a tipp: I'd try a different expansion and/or run Keir Frasers Amiga Test Kit to check the ram.
