Fun game, addictive and well designed, very sad it's not really viably qualified for the jam. Could legit be a nice hypercasual game.

Tbh I don't really understand why you folks didn't implement a system where the "cursor" you target is an object in the game world rather than trying to modify the mouse position itself which won't work. I think Bezi could have quite viably helped you folks come up with a solution to that problem given the parameters/requirements of the jam, tho obviously I can't say for sure.

For example in my own game with help of Bezi I rewrote multiple major systems in my game multiple times over the course of its creation, having to swap from sprites rounded to a grid to a tilemap system etc, and port all scripts to use the new systems instead with totally different methods and mechanics. It needed to be done to make the game viable, it wasn't easy but it was worth it. I wouldn't have finished otherwise.

It was actually Bezi that suggested we use the mouse and we went with it, which has obviously caused us a fatal error. I'd say Bezi its very good, but trusting the software 100% would be fatal when actually releasing a game, something we have taken note of.
Obviously, the time we had left also played a huge part as we couldn't get the patch fixed on time
