Well, tried it out, and honestly, the perk system is certainly a good idea.
That being said, I like how it gives implications depending on the perks you choose, such as how [Supply Department Intern] implies that without it, the Officer is illiterate (and likely isn't very smart), [Veteran officer] implies she's in good graces with the chief... And combined with [Speed loader], gives the impression she's jorked him off a few times.
I wonder if there will be future Perks that will have OTHER implications, maybe something that gives the officer faster movement speed that imply that outside of "Jorking", she doesn't go further with it (I kind of mentally picture the Icon involving a panicked looking image of the Officer running away with her arms in the air as her titties bounce)?
The added difficulty of "You have to acquire new guns from the van" does make things more difficult, and it becomes a bit stressful running from Kobolds while trying to shoot them as the guns don't seem to actually be hitscan (The bullets seem to vary wildly between actually hitting the target, and NOT hitting anything...), while at the same time, the Kobold is able to eat a full round of OO Rubber to the Face and walk it off... On EASY Mode.
The impact grenade is decent, especially since it finally allows us to stop bouncing the grenades at awkward angles JUST to maximise impact. However, it seems it has a reduced arc unlike the "Bouncy Bastard", meaning you have to throw it pretty high to make sure you're not in the splash zone.
I wonder if the next pistol will be either a Magnum (high damage, but heavier recoil and recovery with SLIGHTLY reduced magazine size of perhaps 10 bullets) or a Revolver (High damage, lesser recoil than the magnum, but only six rounds per full load)?
Also, I may have to suggest us being able to buy more ammo. The awkward accuracy of the weapons system and strange hitboxes means we burn through ammo like crazy, so either heavier firepower, or the ability for us to buy extra ammo from the truck.
