Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 8! My name's Hythrain, a co-host and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!

So my normal approach for any game in these events is simple: I get the game, make sure it's not a virus, then play it with as little information on how to play as possible. This way, I can judge how intuitively someone can figure out the game. Only if it's obvious that I need to read more will I do so. I note this so you can get a sense where some of these feedback comes from. In addition, I want to note that feedback and rating are different; don't use this feedback to gauge what I'll rate, nor should you view my rating as entirely indicative of my feedback.

Okay, so here's the thing. I normally try to give each game an hour of screen time if the content allows for this. This game had 10 minutes at most, 7 of which was me trying to determine where one of the songs you used came from.

The reason I barely played the game is because... it's not possible to control this. I was using keyboard controls, and attempting to turn was virtually impossible. Despite me just tapping the key to turn, the amount it turned would be completely random, from not turning at all to turning over 90 degrees. This is just not possible to play.

I'll also note that I attempted to use a controller but the game doesn't support Switch Pro controllers, which is what I use. Even then, I would argue that any game made to run on PC needs to support keyboard (and mouse, if applicable) controls because not everyone has a controller to use on their PC.

I'd highly recommend fixing the controls to make it actually playable. Otherwise, there's nothing I can give feedback on.

Thanks for your feedback! :D

the demo i submitted to this feedback game jam is based on a older build of game.I know that steering was bad because this demo is basicly a milestone build of this game after me working and testing after prototype phase.

I will add controler support to this game and trust me the game will be longer than this short demo.

what is currently in the final game build:

-smoother car controls and added downforce the car.

-visual feedback for car when boosting, colliding with enviroment.

regarding the 2 songs in game all of them are cc0(royalty free) but i will add song credits to the credits section of the main menu.

Thank you for your feedback i will definetly add controller support and alternative controls.
