Reading your comment, you couldn’t have hit the nail better on its head :D. This is quite literally a song with two identities and I remember very fondly how I more than once had tried to put ideas in there that didn’t really fit with the greater vision of this song. Be it either having some sung vocal or even having some dark brakes or more distorted guitars. But I’m also glad Fox stud his ground in making it to what it is now. The original Idea was to set a song and work from each other’s input or even add to the section of the other. So that might even explain that multi-layer part a bit. But I’m really glad you liked it.
