Reading the description of your song made me grin a bit. Its kind of funny that you decided against your guitar this time, while I took the plunge and finally dusted this thing of to implement it.
The general song is really colourful and dreamy. Oddly enough I would compare it more to something from the 70s prog era, so maybe that guitar would have worked wonders. Your sounds do have that sound flavour and even the orchestral instruments have something like they’ve come out of a mellotron. While I really dig your sound pallet and also the general buildup, I’m not that sure it if really fits with my vision of ambient. The piano for example felt quite energetic at times and even got more poppy while hitting the climax. Which doesn’t mean you submission is bad. Just that it might not fit the type ambient that well.
Nonetheless I really liked your submission. Great job!
