Fantastic update. Having to start a new save is a blessing in disguise - letting me re-experience the whole game again with fresh eyes.

I enjoyed the minigame, but my (possibly unwelcome) suggestion for improvement would be to return back to the section you mis-identified rather than looping over again from the start. I used to play lots of Phoenix Wright games and it really gave me that vibe that I missed of connecting contradicting evidence to statements.

I look forward to your next update! As always, your humor and story are top-notch. I appreciate all the wacky jokes and especially The Developer™ showing up to help and watch over the MC.

Regarding the minigame:

I think it's a lose/lose situation. If I implement your suggestion, the player would still need to loop if their mistake occurred after the correct point. As it stands, I think the fast-forward button is the best solution. I may look into making the fast forward a little quicker.

Arrows to move back and forth to find the "discrepancy" could also be an option. Maybe display the full conversation chain once, then let the player move forward and back to present the evidence, which triggers the evidence check?

The issue I had with the fast forward is that I kept overshooting cause I'm kinda dumb and slow to turn it off.

Either way, I'm sure I'll be pleased with your solution! Your consideration (and reply!) is greatly appreciated.

Simplified minigames in the preferences menu does exactly that.

Got it! I was just afraid of missing out on the minigames if I used that setting.
