You get used to it after a while and it eventually becomes endearing.

Thanks for the reply and the details!

It's a real bummer that Itch is making it hard on creators. I definitely understand moving elsewhere to hopefully feel more stable. Some of the game devs I follow have moved to multiple platforms to hopefully avoid being silenced.

Out of curiosity, does this mean you're reversing your plan on not updating Itch downloads any more?

Unfortunate, but understandable.  Thanks for letting us know in advance!

In the past, I've noticed some other AVN's pages are set up the same way, I never considered it might be bot spam control.

Got it! I was just afraid of missing out on the minigames if I used that setting.

You rock!

Arrows to move back and forth to find the "discrepancy" could also be an option. Maybe display the full conversation chain once, then let the player move forward and back to present the evidence, which triggers the evidence check?

The issue I had with the fast forward is that I kept overshooting cause I'm kinda dumb and slow to turn it off.

Either way, I'm sure I'll be pleased with your solution! Your consideration (and reply!) is greatly appreciated.

Fantastic update. Having to start a new save is a blessing in disguise - letting me re-experience the whole game again with fresh eyes.

I enjoyed the minigame, but my (possibly unwelcome) suggestion for improvement would be to return back to the section you mis-identified rather than looping over again from the start. I used to play lots of Phoenix Wright games and it really gave me that vibe that I missed of connecting contradicting evidence to statements.

I look forward to your next update! As always, your humor and story are top-notch. I appreciate all the wacky jokes and especially The Developer™ showing up to help and watch over the MC.

Sometimes even though the files extract successfully, you can have a corrupted download. I've had this happen a few times in the many games I've downloaded from Itch. Re-downloading usually fixes it.

Two checks happen in quick succession: Whether you have the cash to do it at all (red flash #1 if not), and whether you decide to go into the tower or not if you do (red flash #2 after you select yes). At least this seems to be my experience.

Thank you so much for your frequent releases!

Same for me, did you find any solution? For what it's worth, playing in VN mode.

Per their previous post: Public release: 27.06.2025

I also get this same error. I'm able to "ignore" to get past it, but I'm assuming that means I'm missing dialogue.

Copy and paste this into your Windows Explorer window address bar on both computers after running the game once on the new system: %appdata%\RenPy

That will navigate straight to the save location for all Renpy games. You can copy folders straight across or just do the whole renpy folder if you'd like.

On Windows: Save files are stored in your %AppData% folder on your computer. That way you can easily update the game versions on the same computer without needing to carefully transfer anything. You can get there by typing %AppData% into the address bar of your file browser.

Very interesting story! I look forward to see where this leads in future chapters.

Some developers list the newest release on paid-only tiers and I was just wondering if that was the case. Thanks for clarifying! I understand entirely.

Potentially dumb question, but is the release date for people who had bought the game on itch the same as public? Just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything.

I'm seeing a lot of negativity, which isn't cool. I wanted to say thanks so much for the new release!

The groundwork for future content (and keeping the game folders slim!) is super important and understandable that the section is a little shorter. I love the meta, slightly self-deprecating humor in the inner thoughts of MC and it was great to see Linda in person again.

Keep up the fantastic work. You (and your hilarious storywriting) are very appreciated!

Fantastic, funny game so far! Similar humor to Stormside, which is right up my alley. I appreciate giving the option to not always be a creeper in situations, some games don't do that. Looking forward to a non-drunk chance with Georgia in the future!

Side note, I got a lot of laughs out of asking the MC age at the beginning. Putting it as an absurdly high number is just really funny to me.

Fantastic game. Each of the girls have a unique personality and even "accents", something I've never seen before in an AVN. The humor and animations are incredible. Definitely following this and look forward to future updates.

Sasha is adorable in her glasses, I wish more outfits had them!

The file is labeled as such in itch, but when downloaded is the correct 0.7.1 file on my end.
