Focusing on the road while loading tomatoes into the hatch was tricky!
I was a little worried after the first two levels that there wouldn't be much variety but the boss fight definitely shook things up.
I wish there was more to set the first two levels apart from each other, but it was really well made.
Oh my god! The moment I started up the game it reminded me of the old Enviro-Bear 2000 game! Which, funnily enough, was the inspiration for BERGENTRUCK 201X. That arm mechanic to move things out of the car is hilarious!
It was super fun running Dragoons over and getting tons of shells and tomatoes littered in the car. I thought we could add more than one tomato into the car for the boost, but I learned only 1 was required. The boss fight was pretty fun as well!

Very fun game for sure! It took me a while to figure out the controls, even after they were explained. The hitbox for putting tomato into the engine seems really difficult, but once I got it I was good to go! The boss has odd timing, like by the time you get a tomato, put it in the engine, shut the engine, the boss has gone invulnerable. I would have the tomato spawn sooner, personally, so that you don't immediately waste the attack. A well made jam game!

some things could have been made cooler, I guess, but that's just because of the timelimit in a gamejam. Like the battle with the tomato could have you run into the tomato to attack and the indicators for the tomatos attack . It feels like when there is an attack on one side, it is supposed to be one on one side and one on the other for example. Also I only saw the bandit I was following in the first stage, when I played the game for the second time, could also be cool to run into them if you're fast enough, idk, Good stuff <3
I also really like how things can block your vision, if you run into too much stuff xD
It took me a few tries to understand how to use the boost mechanic.
I read too fast and only understood that I had to put tomatoes into the box, but somehow skipped the part that I need to CLOSE it. Definitely would help to have a popup on the first level pointing at the box and saying "CLOSE FOR BOOST!" Once the player has learned this, the other levels don't need it.
It also took me a few tries to understand the right timing to boost during the boss fight. I went for a while thinking it was an endless fight and that the boss HP would never go down. I eventually got him though!
I think the part that I didn't like much was the engine noise. Without much to slow down the car, the sound is just a constant noise that doesn't go away during the whole gameplay, which gets a bit annoying. Other than that, fun game!

Took me awhile to get the objective on getting boosts The moment I started getting tomatoes and eggs on the screen, I thought I needed to make breakfast while driving!
Really loved the feel of this game~
