The tone of this comes through so well through both the mechanics and the general writing and random tables. The naming system alone gives the characters such an immediate personality. It reminds me of Mausritter in that way. Are the 'cuts' shortcuts?

And yeah! The 'Cuts' are like shortcuts, but they can also be routes that are sneakier or safer rather than quicker. Generally, I wanted players to be fairly free to traverse the space, and it's only when they start trying to steal the prize that they have to get clever about moving around.
