What I think are the discrepancies:
1. The shelves before the ladder are full and they have no orange tins.
2. There's a shopping basket with some items and a ticket at its side.
I think the shop was open, someone was shopping, the client murdered the owner after paying and staged everything to make it look like an accident in a closed store.
