hmm seems there is something lost in that huge space of the MC. because neither updating the game nor downloading (compressed and pc version) and unzipping it, it just does not start. So I have to kill the game. I do not mind starting the game from the beginning, but the game won’t start. I know I am a dull, but still … hmmm

Need more details, dude. If there's a bug, I need information so I can fix it

Are you running on Linux? Linux is a blind spot for me. If so, can you try running the game with xwayland?

Jo Gary MY MAN, I just downloaded the new compressed version, unzipped it and it works. OUTSTANDING. AWESOME

I'm glad to hear that but the bug I was trying to fix had NOTHING to do with your error lmao.

Yeah I have the “gift” to stumble upon a problem, which might reveal other problem or issues. Glad to hear and I also tested in loading one of my save states and one worked one didn’t. But I do not mind start from the beginning.

Yes, I know it can be tempting. But I need to re-iterate that using your saves from the previous version is not an option. Even if they seem to load fine, you're pretty much guaranteed to have corrupted data in the save file. Including flags and script navigation.

Sometimes even though the files extract successfully, you can have a corrupted download. I've had this happen a few times in the many games I've downloaded from Itch. Re-downloading usually fixes it.
