This looks and sounds amazing! But I don't know where to go. I feel lost in such a large world with no guidance. But I like the cute NPCs running around and the lovely textures. It feels like a gamecube era platformer collectathon!
The graphics and the music are obviously very impressive as is the size and the load time
The world is huge and the different biomes is very intriguing
Unfortunately the direction of what to do is not very clear, I did read your comment about the "forest platform" but didn't know where that was...
I think I found where I was supposed to go (keep going straight when you leave the house and cross the bridge [you need to jump several times to cross it]). Then you get a jumping puzzle to reach the forest platform
Unfortunately I got stuck in the ground after falling off the second time :(
Hopefully I can try again in the future
Really don't know how you were able to get this all done in a week's timeframe very impressed, did you use someone's 3D engine?
Thanks a lot for trying and for the honest review. We didn't use an external 3d engine (I'm not sure even what that means 😶). It really was made in a week (we are three people during summer vacation).
Sorry to hear that you got stuck in the ground. We will be fixing that right after the jam. You are right, it is not clear where to go, but it sounds like you found the right direction.
I was really impressed with the art and the world you've created in such a short period of time. I definitely felt lost, and exploring felt a bit tough because of how large the world is compared to the speed the character moves. I still enjoyed wandering around, if for nothing else than to just explore and see the different parts of the world you've built. I'd love to see what this could be if you continue working on it.
It wasn't explained properly, but the first thing you have to do is get to the forest platform. This unlocks the ingredients for a potion that lets you transform into a ball, which significantly boosts player speed.
Thank you for trying our game!
Sadly this isn't rendering properly for me. Looks like a cool game from the screenshots. Any idea if there's a way to get this to work? I'm on a AMD 5700XT
Ah, apparently this is an issue with the latest AMD driver 25.8.1 and Vulkan. I've downgraded to 25.6.1 and now it's all working!
Glad you figured it out :)
