Haha, it almost mirrors my performance at Trijams XDDD 7th place ^^
It’s a very clever and fun approach to the topic, and to the meta-development of a video game and game jams. I’ve played some of your recent games and I’m starting to notice your narrative style, full of meta-references, breaking the fourth wall, like in some movies or theater, and transforming some everyday activities into game mechanics… It’s extraordinary genius.
Visuals, music and audio, games, the sleeping issue… All works fine and reflects, in some way a reality in a new interactive language. Also, it´s challenging and calls to repeat to improve, so it´s also addictive.
There´s a little problem with instructions and the timer. As you have little time, in the first tries you spend a little time reading. I was thinking to a way to minimize this (maybe a slow-down of the game for a couple of seconds, with a SFX effect), but it´s difficult to balance between reading and the “rush-no time to stop” effect.
Oh, also I had a bit problem with synonimes. But it was my english level. Is high, but not so high with some less used words. Solved easily with Google Lens.
It´s one of my favorites, obviously. If not first, this game is a top 3 for sure.
