Nice game! Mechanics were well executed and the "cheat" mechanic in particular was cool. Overall, I enjoyed playing! Well done dude, be proud :)

This is a really fun and creative game! I especially enjoyed the overall vibe and design. That said, I think it could benefit from a few extra UI elements to help differentiate the cards more clearly, something subtle like unique borders, icons, or even playful touches like little beards on the cats (which would be adorable!).

One thing that stood out to me during play was the balance of the “The Strongest” card. Right now, it feels a bit overpowered since you can just use its attack + ability every round, which makes it practically a guaranteed win.

Overall, I really like what’s here and can see a lot of potential for even more depth and personality as it develops! Good entry, be proud!

I saw your submission and had to give it a try! The core mechanics are really interesting, especially the idea of allowing one “cheat”  makes the gameplay feel fresh and adds a fun twist to the strategy. The shop and deck-building progression also give the game a nice sense of depth.

That being said, I think the experience would benefit a lot from a clearer tutorial and more accessible card effect explanations. Sometimes the text felt too small or difficult to read, which made it hard to fully understand what was happening in the matches. A bit of polish in this area would go a long way.

As for the presentation, even though some art and music elements are still missing, the overall vibe is already charming. I really liked the jingles, though it would be great if the music looped to keep the energy going throughout a play session.

Overall, it’s a very fun idea with a lot of potential. Congratulations on putting this together  I’m excited to see where you take the project next! If you’d like, you can also check out our game, it would mean a lot to us!

Hey there!
The mechanics are very good! The idea of allowing one cheat move per turn is cool, as you can just remove an indestructible ping monster or something like that. I like the progressing with the shop and deck builder. As a YGO player I think I almost understood how the game works, but sometimes either it didn't or the text was so small to read that it looked like my enemies monster had lower ATK than my monster. Finding out (and not being told straight up) what you can do to cheat is very fun, but I think I had a bug, where my monsters would turn sideways on the bottom row and couldn't be removed or attacked with and their abilities were un-useable.

Obv content such as the art and proper music are missing (I liked the jingles, but then I sat in 3 minutes of silence), so I am intrigued on where this project will go and take you :D

Very fun game, implementation needs work!

This game has a LOT of potential, but the lack of a tutorial and card effect explanations really hinders it. I found myself sometimes turning my laptop upside down to try reading my opponent's cards, which obviously isn't possible on a desktop computer. Even so, some of the text was also just really small and hard to read. The art and music were a fun vibe, but I'd have a lot more fun if I knew what I was doing. The music also doesn't seem to loop, which is disappointing because it was super enjoyable to listen to while it lasted.

The cards could really benefit from descriptions of what they do, and consistent symbols across cards and other part of your UI as well. It also seemed like my cards would never attack, but it otherwise just wasn't clear what I could do, or what was going on. A tutorial of sorts would help :)
