The process of upgrading and enhancing equipment is really addictive! I also encountered the bug where enemies got stuck, but overall it's a very fun game!

dice roguelike that isnt a balatro clone!? goated game, and really loved the concept - one of the most unique in this jam! One thing i experienced was it was super dupe laggy? not sure if its cuz of my OS tho :(

What a well polished product! The controls are probably the best I've seen in this game jam - intuitive, no hand holding yet I could still figure it out. I did run into a bug where a rat and a frog got stuck on top of a house and couldn't complete the game (this happened at Wave 7). Overall, I enjoyed the game a lot!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah that bug was in the game since the start of the jam, never figured out how to fix it haha.

Wow, immediately upon opening the game I could tell it was going to be good. The progression from slowly picking off enemies one by one to fending off large hordes of monsters with a flaming sword is quite satisfying, and the range of different weapons makes each round feel fresh and interesting! My only critique is kind of trivial, but having the five waves back to back just makes them feel like one, longer wave. I think changing the numbers for each wave would make it more clear when the breaks are to use the shops.

Overall I think this is  a really fun game! I liked the anvil mechanic, as it lets the player control the randomness and manage their own risk and reward. Come check out our game too, and leave a comment if you have time!

Thanks for playing! Really happy you enjoyed it, we had a fun time making it. My plan was to have a mini-boss or boss every 5 waves but we didn't get around to it unfortunately.

Couldn't stop playing once I started, there are many weapons to choose and I really like the mechanism to roll a dice and get temporary powerups. It really helps in the repetitive process between waves.
