best graphics in this jam i reckon! in just 4 days, super impressive feat!

maybe the characters gets "diced up" when u lose so uhhh dice!!!

I loved the concept, but i feel like a lot of the ui could do with a fancier and more cohesive font, and i recognised quite a few different during my playthrough. Overall, good music and game!

really smooth game, the mechanic is really unique and what i really enjoyed was how every animation was super cohesive, and the screen shake as well made every cut feel satisfying

wow! first game!??!? thats really impressive, i enjoyed it quite a lot and wouldve never guessed, as it felt pretty smooth.

This was the first game i played in the jam and it set a high barrrr. I like the music the most about this game, and how you made the most out of the assets you had! Really unique art style thats super cohesive, which is really impressive.

I think as a core gameplay, the dice changing stats thing didnt really stick cuz it was too easy, maybe make them more skewed like classes? but everything else was really fun an felt super smooth!

how many rounds to get true ending? am i just not fit to run a civilisation... its been 3 runs D:

So when can i wishlist  getting diepirates in space 1 :D fun game but maybe cuz i love shipbuilders and turn based games

Did you do all the sound urself and the art? impressive!

the odds r 1/6... but i know what u mean even i started doubting it sometimes. Did you use d to reroll or click the dice? I found that clicking the dice made the game hard, but spamming d is good if u have a fast reaction time! ty for the feedback

Thanks for the feedback! I think our team being all tft players were just really cracked at spamming d. In our testing the main way we lost was not reacting fast enough when we rolled the dice and accidentally rolled past something we needed, which was the rage inducing type of gameplay we were trying to implement.

I see that you fixed up the drive and exe messup from when i tried to play earlier. I've never used gamemaker before, but this looks like a lot of work for one person. I liked the art of the game and how you interpreted the theme!

This reminds me a little of bloxorz on coll maths games, which i loved growing up. I prefer this art style much more though, so with some more polishing, dare i say... this is better???

This plays really similar to this dinosaur game i played when i was like 10, i wonder if u played the same game

Loved the cutscene at the start, although i do wish it wasnt like a video and i could choose to skip/ pause w a space bar. The actual gameplay is also very fun, good choice of controls and timing

its ok the jojo sound fx gave us all the tutorial we needed

wow u really outdid urself w this one! best story in the jam by far. I liked starborn solitude but this is a huge step up

As someone who enjoys games where its ok for things to just play out - like house of fata morgana- i didnt have a big issue with the fact i could take a more laid back approach! Loved this

Really impressive you got this done w one person! I thought lots of entrances / exits were not entrances/exits, which got me confused at first, but once I got past that it was smooth sailing. I used a whiteboard instead of a notebook lel

LOL splitting up the sprites was something i didn't figure out in my game so i just drew brand new ones

cant wait to play this w someone else at the closing ceremony! After reading the comments, I had a bit more of an idea of how to go about different strategies for this game which made it really engaging!

I loved how you embraced the randomness of the game and made it a core feature! Definitely needed those hints tho... might be skill issue

am i lucky or am i the best chess with dice player in my group? pretty sure im the best

Fun little game, reminds me of lots of ames i play on my phone to kill some time! I love that you were able to take simple concepts, revamp them a little and create your own version! The game is well balanced, which is really impressive!

dice roguelike that isnt a balatro clone!? goated game, and really loved the concept - one of the most unique in this jam! One thing i experienced was it was super dupe laggy? not sure if its cuz of my OS tho :(
