This was awesome and has SO MUCH potential! I did run into quite a few bugs, but for me the promise the story and visuals show more than outweighed those. I am absolutely RABID for a continuation of this story and more information about what is happening here. Also what happened to Tomas? I know they heard a struggle at night, but I'm not sure if he's in that flipped kayak--and if he is, how we're supposed to be able to get to him.

Sorry if my feedback is a little uh.... too thorough lol. Just keep in mind that I LOVED playing this.

Bugs/Suggestions:

- When trying to hop/climb up the rockface, several times I ended up falling through the mountain and ended up in a cave.

- Sometimes it's not clear where we should be jumping/climbing and how to do so. I ended up just bunny-hopping wherever I could but I doubt that's what I'm supposed to do. Integrating something like a piece of cloth or specially colored plant where we're supposed to climb would be helpful for people like me who see an interactable rock and want to see if there are secrets!

- If you fall into the river, it's really difficult to get out, and while there seems to be a breath mechanic, we don't seem to be able to swim. I came VEEEERY close to dying.

- If we don't have the freedom to rock climb everywhere, you may want to remove the icon change that indicates that you can interact with a rock and try to climb it. That's how I ended up phasing through the world several of the times I did so.

The best parts IMO:

- The monster looking down at us from the ridge. That thing scared the bejeebers out of me several times, because I didn't see it until it moved. That was AWESOME.

- The story. Oh my god the story. I need to know what is happening!!

- The visuals. WOW are they breathtaking.

- The voice acting. I can't tell if it's AI or not--personally I'm not a fan of AI voice acting, but since I can't even tell with this one, I'm going to assume it's a real person lol. I'm only unsure because it was actually really good at setting the mood and I'm not used to indie game voice acting being that good. (I really hope it isn't AI)

- It really rewards exploration, which my treasure-seeking little gremlin heart LOVES. This is pretty open for a walking simulator honestly--I don't know if I'd call it that.

- The mystery! What happened to our sister!? What happened to Tomas!? Sooooo many questions that I can't wait to find out the answers to.

From the videos we’ve seen you seem to have some kind of glowy bug. I guess your playthrough got the extra sparkle, hah! The feedback is great! It’s great to read about things written with some depth to it! There are multiple good points throughout.

Climbing could benefit from improved UX/UI work and some graphic adjustments in the future. The pointer in the middle of the screen should tell what is climbable and what is not - when you can climb the pointer turns into an upwards arrow - there were a couple of places where it was bugged in the video though.

I think the stuttering you’re facing was connected most likely to our audio being loaded. It is something that could be improved too. Your midnight swim was a pretty rough one - too bad Alina was not able to swim (at least not just yet).

Thanks for the gameplay video, comments and your thoughts!

My playthroughs bring all the bugs to the yard, I guess? Yay lol.

Glad the exhaustive lists are helpful--I finished writing it and had the thought that my professors would be proud because it's essentially a mini essay. I'm really interested to see what you guys do with this in the future!!!

I don't think it's in the video but I DID see an up arrow a couple of times. However when I climbed to like the first point, there wouldn't be an obvious second point to continue without looking around, and that would make me stand up and send me through the wall of the world or falling down the cliffside. Which was also fun and interesting in its own way. Bunny hopping away from my watery grave was funny in retrospect.
