Just so you know, the Itch app is currently your enemy lol It keeps installing to 100% then doing a secondary install, then it craps out and none of the installation progress is saved, effectively making it impossible to try your game. I suggest, if you can, making it auto-redirect to mega upload or whatever you are using and barring it from being able to be attempted to be downloaded in the app, like other devs do (where it asks to click a link and redirects to a web page instead).
For the record, I searched the page online to install it that way, out of the app, but to save others time and stress, as I said, I'd strongly suggest placing a block-out on the app even attempting to install the file as it doesn't work, at least on windows.
Hmm... I am typing this while installing the rar file via the web page, and I noticed the file sizes do not match up. The windows DL on the web page is downloading a 3.6 GB file, but the Itch App is trying to download a file that is over 8 gigs. I assume the first install I see via app is the rar file, and that would make the second installation I see it do be the unpacking process. I'd wager it is having issues uncompressing / unpacking the rar file, which would have been what makes it over 8 gigs. Not sure if any of this info helps.
Also, your image of the brunette chick on this page, the last bust shot on the left at the bottom, looks exactly like a main character from another dev I used to follow lol It is uncanny. I am guessing you both use the same core program for character models. Not a complaint, just something I got a chortle over. :)

I just discovered a huge bug by the way. If you have any HP %, when you load a manual save, it keeps that percent. For example, losing a match in the arena brings you to 0%. Load a manual save. You start with your stats and money from that save but HP at 0%. Load an autosave that had your HP at 57%, then load that same aforementioned manual save? Your HP is at 57% in that manual save. I have tested it with losing in the arena, and loading 4 different auto saves with varying HP% and it has happened 100% of the time.
And to answer your question, no. The thing I was suggesting was much easier. Some devs, for example those who have their files on Mega, have the app locked from bringing up the download button. If you click 'Install' in the app, it brings up the download screen (where you choose windows, linux or mac) but it doesn't have a drop down bar, instead saying "no compatible download file detected." and a second message "Developer is hosting download from a third party source" or something like that, I forget the actual wording used. In which case I can click that second message and it opens my browser to the Itch page where I can download it from this very page we are chatting on now. Sorry if I explained that poorly. I tried to be descriptive.
The Itch app tries to download something that is about 6GB based on caluculation, for me and it warned me that I need 8GB to install. The gofile link for windows says it will download something that is 3.6 GB big.
(I did not finish the install). How big was the file from web then? Was it really 3.6 or did the server report a wrong file size? The game description says it is supposed to be 6GB.
I downloaded it from the web link as well. It was a 3.whatever rar. Unpackaged, the folder is 5.7 Gigs. I think Itch uses extra space for unpacking and storing into its UI for ease of use (like how we click 'update' to do updates through it rather than downloading an entirely new version if not through the app) or something, which is weird because that is like 2 gigs extra space!
