I realize I’m probably in a minority here, but I would really appreciate a For Babies Easy mode of the sewing minigame or the option to skip it entirely. I love historical fashion and have been dreaming about a game like this for years, but I have a fine motor disability that makes it almost impossible for me to make the small movements needed quickly enough. At least, with a mouse control scheme. I’ve been loving the other gameplay, but it looks like sewing on the sleeves is going to prevent me from finishing the tutorial dress.
For anyone else in the same position, I’ve realized you don’t have to sew and adjust at the same time. When you notice things going awry, you can unclick to stop moving the fabric forward, adjust your angle, and start sewing again. It’s not exactly getting me top scores, but it’s allowing me to finish pattern pieces!
