One can really write essay for this game — it’s sensible portrayal of mental illness with Aiyana and how others of varying illnesses of their own treat her…kinda hurt ngl, took me into a place I wasn’t expecting myself to go haha. And I am speaking highly on this, to be clear!

I love the slow, unnerving build-up to the toxicity within Aiyana and all the female relationships she has in the game. With ofc Emma taking center stage, trying her damn hardest in basically being human and humanly failing at it. Then you have Adelaide who is like my problematic fave and I love that the side story we get! And while she isn’t present, but I love that we have Aiyana’s mother who is hinted to have her own struggle, haunting the narrative from beginning to end.

So yes, I loved this game — and seeing more shamelessly weird girls of yours taking small wins despite it all makes me every me so happy. Who knows if it will all work it in the end, but here’s to hoping as I adore that they’re trying to make the best of it. So, thanks again for the amazing game!

Ah thank you so much. Smiles. It's a game that's very dear to me and still lingers in my head even though it's been several weeks since I finished. It brings me joy to hear such in depth thoughts.. The comment about Aiyana's mother haunting the narrative means a lot to me. I wanted her to feel like a ghost almost.. one you never seen but who is always there.. People I've noticed don't usually talk about dead people, even if they loved them.... or hated them... So she's meant to be forgotten.. but always present anyways.

Thank you so much!! ‎ . ݁⋆ ꫂ᭪ ݁˖ . ݁
