Interesting........... I want to know moar like omg. Like, I have so many questions but I know there's a limit bc of this jam's restrictions aaaa. Still, gorgeous presentation. I'm particularly loving the color palette that was use.
Every time Elina smiled, my knees went weak I also want to say. But dang sad that she immediately rejected us doing a Silence-of-the-Lamb thing, smh. Think of the drama.
It is very accurate to call it bittersweet with all the endings really hitting in different ways, varying the sweetness/bitterness of where these characters ended up. I particularly like the first ending with what Rain says to Star about not even believing in reincarnation. For him to still keep this kind of promise with the world literally ending right before you, very romantic </3
The presentation, ofc, pulled in IMMEDIATELY. Beautiful and stunning in every single way from its imagery and motifs. But, to not repeat what everyone else had said, what I found really interesting this narrative was theme of pity. Louisa, despite the amount of pride that she upholds, is pitied by nearly everyone including herself despite it all. And, as weird as this sounds, I particularly loved how she was pitied by both the Queen and Camilla.
Both women bound by societal ropes that Louisa is also entangled by, but has the life experience that Louisa notably lacks. In another game, I would've wanted the Queen and Camilla be in threesome with Louisa, ngl lmao. But, I do love how both of them did try save Louisa in their own way. One, I guess, more effective than the other..., who knows really after that "The End", but if Louisa's happy, we're all happy! (The kisses that were shared, mwuh, absolutely lovely.) It just makes you think how happiness is relative, and I love what people explore that.
While I do find the ending a tad abrupt, I really loved the writing and found the characterization of everyone to be so clever. I also loved the magic system, and will be curious to see the larger world if something like it ever pops up. But, yes! Lessons learned: sucks to be Randolph, and it was always good to ask for help <33
Oh, the pipeline from idolization to objectification...and the fact that Yui loves to write idol AU fanfics featuring Chariot likeeee. Going in, I knew I was gonna love this, and it didn't miss -- esp that ending, oof. You can't help but wonder what left is in store for those two.
But, like that mascot said: "Humans quite enjoy a tragedy."
I always love the concept of the Prisoners' Dilemma and seeing it in a sci-fi, Danganronpa-esque situation was so fun to indulge in. I haven't found all endings yet, but I just wanted to how cool this world you made and these characters/designs. Xor is so delightfully unhinged (every single expression had me dying) being played against the solemn Nova, chef kisses all around.
Definitely wishlisting the main game <3
Ah, loved it! Edie is such a great lead, I loved her cheekiness as well as seeing her insecurities played out (and how unfortunately it gets used against her). Each ending being as dubious as the next was such a treat that made me feel sorry for Edie.
I'm for sure a Lucy's stan (very Hanako-esque lol) but the little, nice moments with Ilya swayed me just a bit. Even I wasn't insusceptible to his charms, dang lol. Yang is best boy/spider, though through and through <3
Just finished, it was super cute! Kiki is so funny, I'm obsessed with all her expressions, my gosh. Also, Curtis is number one best boy/good boy lol. Though, I'm determined to make Mochi love me!
Even if this is "bare bones" as you said, there's so much care and thought put in it. From the gameplay to the doggos to all of Kiki's adorable clothing (Mochi is wrong, Kiki does have excellent taste in fashion.) I also love the little pieces of Kiki and Satoru mixed in, hmmm I don't know how I would choose between him and Kai aaaaa.
Overall cute, fun start! Definitely excited to see how it plays out <3
so, you're telling me that we have this STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMAN as our mentor that we DON'T EVEN SMOOCH . i know she's too good for Astra but still.............
regardless, lol, love this! gorgeous art (chef kiss to the character design), and what an intriguing start, def captures superhero comics in the best way possible with its worldbuilding and characters. i do wanna punch Dread ngl if the opportunity presents itself lol, but im very curious to see how Atlas and Astra will play out hmmm.
can't wait for more!
Aaaa! This was super cute and rly touching! I rly enjoyed all the banters with Aurore and Clem, they kept cracking me up (them singing flo rida KILLED me). Clem was an adorable bean, that last act with them def pulled on my heartstrings ESPECIALLY that final question, aaaaaa. Good stuff! Can’t wait to play Aurore’s game next!
Ooooh! This was such an intriguing start, I'm already so amazing by the set up that I can't wait for more! I'm a sucker for stories that touch on the dangers of striving to be at the top of one's passions -- slowly dripping with psychosis. (Eek, poor Iris.)
I'm also in love with everyone's design. Flo is ofc hauntingly beautiful, but it's not often you get to see a dark-skinned lead and Vern is so pretty! Them being featured in plenty of the CGs already is a cherry on top. I'll be waiting not so patiently lol for updates.
