as someone who likes roguelike deckbuilders, i like where this is headed! it feels like a familiar system with the use of energy and draw so i played twice to try and beat the second level

to echo another comment, some mechanics don't make much sense to me, in terms of using mechanics to convey citizen's assemblies. as tony said, im not sure what consensus means for a single Secretary. is the Facilitator working with them one on one separate from the group? also, the Deal card is a fun card that lets you sacrifice some of your win condition to hopefully get further in the long term. however, what does "sacrifice consensus to draw and gain energy" mean in a real citizen's assembly?

also, its really cool to me that this is made in ren'py. good job overall!

Thanks for the feedback! I kind of abstracted what consensus meant to focus more on the gameplay and card mechanics. But I hear where you're coming from and I think perhaps adding a narrative or story could help tie some of the practical concepts together.
