I always appreciate it when a game asks for pronouns 🙏‍

I also really like how well-written this game is. However, with the rather good-quality writing throughout the game, it does make the main ending particularly underwhelming (and I did find myself spending quite a bit of time trying every other sequence of choices in case there was another outcome, alas, there wasn’t). I get it, time constraints are a pain in the backside, but this game does still leave me wanting more. Whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing is up to interpretation.

Firstly, thanks for playing!

We intended for many more branching paths, but scope creep got the best of us, and with all of us working or studying full-time, we did what we could in the time provided. That being said, we'll definitely pick this up to bring it to a finished state after the jam ends.

I personally enjoyed modifying the script our team wrote to sprinkle in a few variations for character reactions based on the pronouns you choose at the beginning. Try crying during Professor Dadd's project explanation with different pronouns. I wanted to create some believable differences in events based on character personalities without affecting the overall story too much.
