vampire is very op because of how common enmies are and food just pops up slightly too for the knight, i like it hard but it feels too dependent luck with food drops once you get the knight
things i have acomplished:
beating the game
one shotting the boss with berserk (1/104 hp)
excaping with werewolf pet
suggestions i have:
1. putting creatures in the shop, i understand if you dont want this to become a pokamon game but also i dont see why not
2. a character based on using creatures to put on top of that ether a necromancer or someone who can catch monsters, maybe even starting with a dog and one of those books
3. separate some spell books into items? like you could have invisibility that makes it so monsters don't attack unless attacked for 3 turns orrr a smoke bomb that dose the same thing
4. enemies could drop gold and sometimes animals can drop food? this would solve the knights main problem the vampire still heals from everyone alive but i dont see why a boar or a wolf couldn't be chopped up and cooked some monsters like bosses could hide something ove more value like a strong weapon like a dagger that leaches hp or the door insted of needing a key
5. just because its what im abscessed with it can there be a naga character? i love it when there's a monster as playable character (i already know about the vampire but yk) and it can't hurt to ask for a snakey boi :3 idk how this would be balanced but simple 3 features everyone gives to a snake charator 1 venom 2 hypnotic eyes 3 coiling or at least something to do with that tail you do whatever you want with that
6. inventory feels small, this is fine its part of the game but a passive abilty item like a backpack, pouch or bag of holding would be very nice, and it would be very nice if you could eat food and collect gold without needing to destroy a weapon for 3 gold
7. instead of difficulties make just make different effects, preferably 1 good 1 bad for each dungeon but change it up with some only bad and with a few super hard ones, its more fun to have difaculties that change how you play the game and add more instead of just easy is better luck hard is worse luck as well as a endless mode but if you add easy and hard into each then thats ok i just would rather the ice caves, fey woods and crystal abyss over hard mode
