Advantages:
1. The scares are well thought and the pacing of the game is perfect. The sense of dread and tension is created from the very first moments and stays with you through the whole adventure. I had to take breaks playing it because I was so scared and at the edge. I love it!
2. The sounds are awesome! Sound design is very important for a horror experience and I think the developers have nailed it!
3. The graphics are top hole! The potential of Unreal Engine is well used. I am so content and impressed by the result!
Disadvantages:
1. Some particular sounds seem very familiar with other horror games. Especially for jumpscares. The developers used them quite good, but it would be nice to hear something different especially for me because I play and review lots of horror games.
2. I would very much like seeing actually working mirrors. It's nice that they reflect flashlight and I know that it is so difficult to create a reflection. But that would be a nice addition due to the fact that the mirror is seen throughout the whole game.
3. This point is the most important one! Sometimes it is very difficult to know where you need to focus and what to touch. There were sections in which I was lost for good 20 minutes before realising that I was just inaccurate with my peepers peeping. Though, this game is much simpler than original P.T. in regards to this point.
Overall:
I am having a blast playing this game! So scary and so awesome! I enjoy every second of the experience and I recommend everyone buying this game if you want get spooked a good bit.
