Game is quite fun, although I had issues with the boost rings. If I changed direction at all, it would crash me into the ring. It felt weirdly difficult to maneuveur, so maybe some lenience on these boost rings (i.e a speed check as opposed to a isBoosting type system) could be helpful. Otherwise, really cool game and it actually uses the theme really well!

Unsure what you mean by changing direction causes you to crash? It shouldn't matter what angle you're coming at as long as you are boosting when you hit it's collider. Though I do agree that they'd feel better with a speed check so I'll likely switch to that anyway.

It may be an issue on my end, maybe my keyboard makes me stop boosting temporarily when switching direction? Either way, yeah if I changed my angle while boosting then it would fairly often lead to me dying at the boost rings

That could make sense, I'm gonna try and investigate later for my own sanity, but regardless switching to speed based should resolve it. Thanks for the info :)
