It's an interesting idea to use the game of life for a game, but there is some feedback I'd like to give. It seems that the main goal in your eyes is to make the player figure out  "the rules". But if someone doesn't know what the game of life is, they can probably never figure that out on their own, I think. Even if you do vaguely know what the game of life is, it can be hard to figure out the exact rules. If I had made this game, I would have first explained the rules of the game of life to the player, and then ask them to find a solution that survives the 100 iterations. That's challenging enough, I think.

I have gotten a lot of feedback about the difficulty and I realize that I kinda messed that up.

I am planning on continuing with this game. And mode with all rules revealed will definitely be the default.

And if someone wants to be given the challenge of discovering it, it will also be an option.

Maybe you can add some colors I  the later level that need to be discovered! The player will be more accustomed to the way the game works by then :)

Can you also rate my game?
