The art is very cool love the green aesthetic (Green is my favorite color particularly forest green) and retro vibe.

Menu is cool too, love the little animation and shades of green.

The music is cool as well, fits the game well.

As for mechanics this is awesome! It would have been so cool if the gems were to merge together like those games? I feel like that’s where you got the inspiration from.

I can see the very similarity to my game from your comment XD I literally was gonna make a pocket inventory sort of like yours in a way but didn’t have enough time to create the art or ask my partner to make it sadly…

I think this concept is so cool, just if the gems were to merge together, I think the game would last longer since it was very short. Also, it be cool to have it where if you mine all the little piles, you would like to win the game entirely but that would involve lots of playtesting obliviously.

My highest score was like 129 I think, it was hard to screenshot it since it would go to menu quickly. Maybe next time have a button? because when I went to screenshot, it would go to menu since it says to click “any button” to get restart the game, lol

Overall, great job on the game jam!!! and I wish you two luck on the game jam!!!

A small bug I ecnountered (the diamond would wig out/jitter when trying to be placed like this) :

Glad you like the green Game Boy vibes! Would you say that your elemental power is... green?

I really enjoyed making all the art and animations, and my teammate Taz did a wonderful job on the music!
Also I had never considered a merge mechanic, that's something I'll think about for a future update! For the pocket minigame, the main inspiration was just regular classic Tetris. With the twist just being gems instead of blocks.

I hadn't even considered people trying to screenshot their score!! That's my bad, I made that basically impossible. I'm taking a list of all the bug reports from this jam so I can fix them all and re-release an updated version. I'll add that to my bug list! And the diamond jittering was something I thought was fixed before I submitted for the jam, so I'll revisit that one.

I'm so happy you enjoyed playing the game!! Thank you so much for your kind words and for leaving such helpful feedback!
