Nice little item finding game. It was kinda funny to imagine what kind of potion the wizard was trying to make with a grand piano. Also a small thing but when he picked it up it also slows him down quite a bit, so that's a small nice detail.

The art looks ok, but some things seem out of place with the other things. The music is nice, but it seemed to not loop when the song ends.

SPOILER: I got stumped on the piece of cake level. My first intuition is obviously picking up the knife and brought it to the big cake, but there's no prompt saying that you can slice it or anything, so I looked around a bit, but I'm not sure what I was supposed to do next. Now some games are actually also like this, like the old point-and-click adventure games I used to play back in the days, where you sort of click random things until you got the right things or you trigger some sort of events to progress the story. But in those games there are loads of things to do, so it didn't feel boring when you got a little stuck, whereas in your game is very simple, so these sorts of roadblocks are major hurdles and honestly will turn off a lot of people.

Thanks for playing our game and taking the time to give us feedback! We are still learning about the assets and music department: we will try to remember your suggestion for our next jam.
The idea of implementing extra steps with objects being able to interact with each other was considered, but we didn't manage to implement it in time 😅 This is one of the reasons why the last level feels a little rush.
