We’re the team behind Craftpix — a platform offering high-quality 2D assets for indie game creators. We’re excited to invite you to our second annual Craftpix Indie Jam, taking place November 1–10, 2025 on Itch.io!

👉 Jam page: https://itch.io/jam/craftpix-indie-jam-2-2025

🕹 How it works:

  • Use at least one character or tileset from Craftpix (free or premium).
  • Your game must be created during the jam period.
  • No AI-generated graphics, code, or text.
  • No NSFW, offensive, or discriminatory content.
  • Any game engine is allowed.
  • Your game must have a browser-playable version (HTML5). However, if your chosen game engine does not support HTML5 export, you may submit a downloadable version instead. This will not disqualify your entry or be considered a rule violation.
  • Teams of up to 4 people or solo developers are welcome!

Judging Categories

  1. 🧠 Originality of the Idea – Unique, fresh concepts that stand out and surprise.
  2. 😂 Humor – Make us laugh through absurdity, clever twists, or unexpected charm.
  3. 🌀 WTF Factor – Confuse, shock, or make us say: “what did I just play?!”
  4. 🎮 Freedom to Improvise – Encourage experimentation and creative play.
  5. 🧸 Unexpectedly Wholesome – Games that start wild and end with a warm punch to the heart.

See you there!

Hello, I have a question regarding the rules. Is it allowed to have people outside of the team test the game? (Or, in other words, if someone were to be mainly a tester, do they have to be part of the "team"? Do they have to have an account and register in order for them testing the game be allowed?)

Hi!
Each game can be created by a team of up to 4 members.
A tester can absolutely be part of your team — in that case, they should be registered and will also be eligible for prizes.
However, if your team already has 4 members and someone is just helping you test the game (similar to how streamers get feedback from their audience), that’s totally fine too! They don’t have to register, but they won’t be eligible for prizes.
If you’d like, you can still have them register just to help the jam’s visibility — but it’s not required.
