The elemental looping feels pretty tacked on. when the player doesnt actively have control over which element theyre choosing, it might as well just be randomized, since they cant think about using it effectively. The row-placement loop and elemental loop give the player very little agency, and while the row swapper (unique mechanic) might alleviate that, it still feels like it is mostly out of the player's control.
I think that by making the rowswapper, the elements, and the placeable row, all go through their own loops, the overall game feels confused, and it feels as though you weren't confident in any singular looping mechanic.

Very valid points! I wanted to have the player need to plan ahead based on what they have access to at various moments of the game. I thought it would add more of a strategic element, but I think it wound up causing players to need to lean more so into chaos😂. I think more emphasis on elemental buffs/debuffs may have forced players to make that connection, but balancing was something I neglected due to time. Appreciate the feedback and hope u had some fun with it albeit the shortcomings you described!
