Hello! 1/2 of the Boot Loop team here. Love to see others run with similar ideas. Everything here is just my opinion so take with grain of salt.

If possible, speed the game up by about 50%. The player is meant to fail and fail a lot. Let them experiment and minimize friction for screwing up. On the flip side, our game probably could be a bit more on the nose with death recap, so don't swing pendulum too hard over ;)

I also got stuck on 11, not sure if the loop timed out or I made some error hitting a hole, but it wasn't immediately obvious what happened, so as a player I need more feedback.

Finally, the graphics and style of it is clean and nice. I liked the limitation of tiles to use, it constrains the search space for puzzle solutions.
Overall, good fun!

Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! I really appreciate you taking the time to try my game and share your thoughts.

Your point about speed makes a lot of sense, and I’ll definitely keep it in mind.

Regarding level 11, there’s actually no timeout in the game, so it should have worked, I guess there might be a bug I wasn’t aware of. Every level does have a solution that I intended, but there might still be ways to break things I didn’t catch. Also, the last few levels (11–14) had less time for retesting and polish due to time constraints, so I appreciate you pointing this out.

I’m really glad you enjoyed the puzzles and the style, and had some fun with it! I also enjoyed running into a similar idea and had fun trying it out :)
