This is my favourite game I've played for this jam. I don't know if that's mainly due to the atmosphere, or mechanics, or the fun writing, or the creativity, but literally all the elements worked together in this one to create a really fantastic top-down puzzle game. It's super polished,  has really cute and easy-to-read pixel art (and also I personally love the aesthetics of this  kind of Halloween swampy setting you've got going on),  unique mechanics in both the music and the lollipops, and was genuinely such a blast that you could easily have convinced me this was a short retro game rather than a game made in 96 hours.

I think literally my only notes are that it's not always super clear what elements do and don't have collision (like for example it took me a bit to realize I could walk over certain green plants and cobwebs) , and that the grid movement feels a little off to me for whatever reason (my suspicion is that tweaking the animation a smidge or increasing how quickly you 'snap' to a tile might help with this), but those are such teeny-tiny nitpicks in what is otherwise such a phenomenal little game.  Sorry this is so long btw -- I just genuinely loved this so much and wanted to gush lol. I don't know how often you do game dev stuff, but if you plan to make more games in the future, I very eagerly anticipate them ((:

Thank you for playing and your comment, it was really nice to read. I do agree with the nitpicks and feel like the delay between moves could be a little shorter or the animation a little snappier.

I can't take credit for the art part, the tileset is made by V3X3D, please give them a follow or pass a good word, I definitely will ;)
