This is probably the best game I've played so far from this jam, I can't believe the whole thing came together in 4 days.

My only criticisms would be:

Add some kind of indicator to show whether time is moving forward/backward/stopped, or maybe even the current point on the timeline as there were some bits in the more complicated puzzles where you have to rewind for quite a long time and I got a bit stuck  when I thought I'd already rewound all the way and didn't realise it was still going.

The audio from the tapes seems a lot quieter than other sound effects, so I had to turn my volume up but then 😱jump scare

It's great to include an invert mouse option, but when it doesn't work you are just trolling us invertees 😭😭

Also, I noticed there's a credit for a newscaster voice but after finishing the game I don't remember hearing it - did I miss something?

Thank you so much for the kind words!

I was planning on adding indicators for manipulating time but was unfortunately not able to do it in time. I think having a timeline would be a good idea! If we keep working on it, we'll keep it in mind.

I realize now that I don't think I ever hooked the invert Y axis setting up to anything. The bool is in the menu and in the player but they aren't connected. 😅 I use inverted on controller, but I tested the game primarily on KBM (where I don't invert) and in the rush of getting it out, I suppose I never thought to try it.

The newscaster is heard in loop 3. I've received feedback that its hard to hear him. He is supposed to not sound loud and clear as its coming from the TV on the second floor, but I think I may have overdone the effect. If you wanna hear it, go to loop 3, use headphones, crank the volume and stand right outside the door to the TV room. The audio loops so don't worry if you miss the beginning. It will stop playing once you enter the TV room. Its not essential but adds context between tape 2 and tape 3.

Lovely to hear! I don't have much else to add than what Dennis has already written but I wanted to show appreciation non the less :)
