I didn’t catch that, actually - I thought it was an arcade-style thing where it restarted every crime scene, so I only played a couple. Maybe I’ll give it another try sometime and try to find the ending.
Thanks for the reply! If you didn't catch that there's no need to go back, it's probably hidden too well for even the most sharp-eyed detectives to figure out. Unless you truly want to proclaim supremacy over this riddle, that is.
