Nice implementation in general, specifically the multiple choice code interface. I think this could be improved with a bit more direction about what you are trying to do in the code and why. Music gets a bit repetitive.                    Please use this link for my game not the one under my name if interested. https://itch.io/jam/gmtk-2025/rate/3776541

I'm glad you liked it. If I had more time, I would have added more code and content, but I only had so much time.

Very interesting concept! And informative, even :D

(for me a non-programmer at least)

I'm glad you like the concept :)

Fixing the code loops is an intriguing concept.

Actually, there are many games that can be made, but since our goal is to be creative, the idea for such a game came to my mind.

Gameplay:

In the game, we move using the arrow keys and WASD. In our first mission, we go to the tree that looks different. An icon appears next to it—when you click the icon, a code screen opens. There is a button next to the faulty code block; by clicking it, you open the code blocks. You click on each code block to edit the code.

In the second mission, an axe appears. You go to the axe and click its icon to fix the code.

In the third mission, there’s a car. You go to the car, click its icon, and fix the code. After that, there is a person. You go to them, click the icon, and they give information about the end of the game and a thank-you message.

Hellooo, glad there was a little help below, help me get through the game. You can still edit your main page so putting these helpful tips on it could be useful!

Thank you for explaining how to play. I completed the game. I think the core mechanic is a fun take on the theme. I like that we have to modify elements of looping code to progress.

I think a tutorial or an in game explanation of the controls would go a long way if you choose to update after the jam.

Nice lil game!
