I value the feedback! will noodle on it
Been thinking on another possible issue, in regards to the Zombie attack from the Goblin floor boss. While straightforward enough to solve, it's different from other puzzles in that it requires pieces from the previous week (purifying ring and by extension the slime jar), which wouldn't be a huge issue except that neither item is required to advance the plot up until the zombie attack.
So I'm foreseeing a possibility where a player could fail to get the slime jar or the purifying ring, making it all the way to week three and getting stuck because they can't make any progress, thus requiring them to go all the way back to the previous weeks and ruining any progress thus far.
Now, fair's fair if you've already inserted a solution to the issue, but I thought'd I'd bring it up just in case.
Appreciate the thought. But we’re actually good there. Slime can be applied at any time to the statue to get the ring, so long as the zombie event hasn’t started yet.
Meanwhile, I made a coding mistake that I’ve decided to leave in, because no one has noticed and I don’t think it detracts: There isn’t actually a minimum amount of slimes that need to be caught to satisfy Sylvia and get you the transforming slime jar XD
But yeah. Stuff like this is exactly why I decided on a linear story. Hard to keep track of soft lock situations in a branching path story.
