Have had lots of fun playing this, feels like a nice throwback to the days of cartoonnetwork flash. I do think that the puck launchers are a teensy bit busted, though. They have a tendency to just hide along the edges where you physically cannot get around to sink them. Maybe if there were some way of goading them away from the walls, or even just a mini map so you don't have to spend so long hunting them while they pelt you to death, they'd feel a bit more balanced?

Edit: with a bit more practice the puck launchers don't feel so bad anymore. Mostly just wish they weren't too tall to jump over.

Thank you so much!! Yeah we definitely took inspiration from that flash/PS1 era of games here. That’s completely fair and also something we’ve identified in playtesting post-jam — I can definitely agree with you that they’re busted at the moment and only wish we had the foresight to nerf them sooner. You’re also not the first one to suggest a minimap — something for us to definitely think about :)

No problem! Another thing is that I connected my dualsense controller, and it works on the title and pause screens, but not during the actual gameplay

Ahh, good catch! Yeah our controller support was added more towards the end and not tested completely. If you don't mind my asking, were you playing on web or in the downloaded version?

Gotcha, thanks! I actually had to flip the Y axis for player movement joystick input specifically on web for our controller support to function, so it’s definitely a little dubious there. Will be doing some more testing post-jam 🫡

As long as I have your ear, I think a combo bonus of some kind would be neat. Like if each enemy to fall in the same hole after the first gave you one additional point per enemy that fell in before it. So if you sank 3 enemies in the same hole you'd get +1 +2 +3 instead of +1 +1 +1
